In addition to ASTech's own small-scale proprietary LMS systems (ALMS), we also provide the following services to other LMS including open-source systems such as Moodle. The Moodle (acronym stands for Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment) is one of the most widely used LMS systems in colleges and also is in widespread use in industry. As it is built on the LAMP (Linux Apache MySQL PhP) platform as used in ASTech's core products (e.g. GEMS), it can be integrated easily.

The services include:

• LMS hosting service
• LMS customisation and customer branding
• Content creation and conversion of client legacy training to e-learning

Data exchange (questions and assessment results) can be exchanged between a SCORM 1.2 compliant LMS and ASTech's GEMS system. A run-time interface is also available so that GEMS can be launched from an LMS and interactions tracked and reported in the LMS.
